This collage and a companion piece, A River Runs Through, was done in Rowe, Massachusetts, where borders of MA, VT and NH converge. I was taking a workshop with the artist, Sabra Field. We had just returned from a morning long silent walk in the woods where we observed line, form and colour. More comfortable with seeing colour, I began to see line and form in a new way.
